Pottery Gnomes Workshop

Bring a touch of whimsical magic to your holiday decor in this delightful 2-hour pottery workshop! You'll hand-build your very own charming Christmas gnome from clay, creating a unique festive character that's sure to become a beloved seasonal decoration.

In this creative workshop, you'll learn hand-building techniques as you sculpt your gnome from start to finish. Our skilled instructors will guide you through shaping the body, crafting the iconic pointed hat, adding facial features, and creating those adorable details that give each gnome its personality. Whether you envision a jolly, rotund fellow or a tall, slender character, you'll have complete creative freedom to design your perfect Christmas companion.

No pottery experience necessary - this workshop welcomes beginners and experienced crafters alike! You'll discover basic clay techniques, texturing methods, and tips for creating stable, well-proportioned pieces. It's a wonderfully relaxing and therapeutic way to spend an afternoon while creating something truly special.

Once your gnome is complete, you have two finishing options: choose from our selection of beautiful glazes during the workshop for a classic finish, or return to our pottery painting studio for just £5 to add your own colourful, detailed paintwork - perfect if you want to create intricate patterns or personalised touches.

Your finished gnome will be carefully fired in our kilns and ready for collection in approximately 6-8 weeks. All clay, tools, firing, and basic glazing are included in the workshop price.

Create your own festive friend and add handmade charm to your Christmas celebrations!

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: Pottery takes approximately 6-8 weeks to fire - these are estimates only and may take longer. You'll be emailed from collect@fire-nest.com when ready with self-collection details. Items must be collected within 30 days or will be disposed of. Due to the nature of high-temperature firing, perfect results cannot be guaranteed and we don't provide refunds for firing outcomes, though we always try to help resolve issues where possible.
