In this 4-week hand-building pottery course, you will learn how to create beautiful and functional ceramic pieces that you can proudly take home. Throughout the workshop, you will be guided step-by-step on how to mould and shape clay into various forms, such as bowls, cups, and vases.
If you're new to pottery, do not worry! This class is designed for beginners, and we will provide a nurturing and supportive environment for you to explore your creativity. You'll feel at ease as you discover the joy of working with clay and the satisfaction of handcrafting your own unique pottery pieces.
The class will be conducted in small groups, allowing for personalised attention, and all the materials and tools needed will be provided. You'll learn different hand-building techniques, such as pinch pot, coil, and slab construction, and experiment with surface decoration and glazing.
By the end of the 4 weeks, you will witness a transformative journey as you proudly showcase your handcrafted pottery collection.

What you'll get
4-week course taking place every week, for 2 hours per session. We will cover all the basics of pottery and glazing. At the end of the course, you will take home all your finished pieces made during the course. This class series runs over 4 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.

You'll be emailed from hello@firenest.co.uk when ready with self-collection details. Items must be collected within 30 days or will be disposed of. Due to the nature of high-temperature firing, perfect results cannot be guaranteed and we don't provide refunds for firing outcomes, though we always try to help resolve issues where possible.
