Don't worry if you are new to pottery – we will provide step-by-step instructions and support to help you unleash your creativity. Get ready to immerse yourself in a hands-on activity that is both relaxing and rewarding. You'll be amazed at how quickly you progress and the sense of accomplishment you'll feel you create your own unique pieces.
Throughout the course, you will be taught how to make your own bowls, pots, mugs, and vases. On the 4th and final session of the course, you will receive all your pottery wheel creations back which have been fired in the Kiln ready for you to glaze with our range of glazes.
All your items will then go back in the Kiln after being glazed for a Glaze Firing, with all your pieces being ready for collection around 6-8 weeks later.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: Allow approximately 6-8 weeks for ceramic pieces to be fired and ready for collection, these are estimates and may take longer. You'll be emailed from hello@firenest.co.uk when ready with self-collection details. Items must be collected within 30 days or will be disposed of. Due to the nature of high-temperature firing, perfect results cannot be guaranteed and we don't provide refunds for firing outcomes, though we always try to help resolve issues where possible.

In our pottery Wheel Throwing workshop, you will embark on a creative journey to learn the art of working with clay on a spinning wheel. Discover how to craft beautiful and functional pieces such as bowls, mugs, and vases with your own two hands.
Fe nervous about trying something new? Do not worry! We will guide you through each step with patience and encouragement, making sure you feel confident and inspired throughout the workshop. You be amazed at what you can create!
During the class, you'll have the chance to get hands-on with the clay, learning how to shape and mould it into unique pieces. The therapeutic experience of wheel throwing will leave you feeling relaxed and fulfilled, eager to explore your creativity further.
At the end of the workshop, you'll proudly take home your own handmade pottery creations, a tangible reminder of the skills you've acquired and the memories you've made.
