During the workshop, you'll be taught how to mould and shape the clay using hand-building techniques to craft your very own unique cheeseboard and matching pot. From shaping the cheese wedge and adding its signature holes to creating your own little mouse and its curly tail, you'll get to add all those lovely details that make your pieces extra special. Get ready to get your hands dirty and enjoy the therapeutic nature of working with clay!
What makes this class extra special – you'll get to MAKE AND PAINT your creations all in the same session! Once you've finished hand-building your pieces, you'll have the opportunity to decorate them using a selection of beautiful underglazes. Add colour, personality and those all-important finishing touches to bring your little mouse and cheeseboard to life. Whether you choose traditional cheesy yellows or something a little more colourful, your finished set will be completely unique!
By the end of the class, you will have crafted your very own matching cheeseboard and chutney pot, ready to become a lovely addition to your next dinner party, cheese night or cosy evening at home! Your handmade set will also make a wonderful gift for any cheese lover. Firing and glazing are included in the class, and your finished pieces will be ready approximately 4 weeks later.

We're a small, independent pottery studio. We pour our hearts into every class and work hard to deliver beautiful results.
Lead times: Ceramic pieces take approximately 4 weeks to fire. After the session, they simply need to be clear glazed and fired, which helps speed up our process! Please note these are estimates and can sometimes take longer. We cannot speed up this process or provide daily updates.
Refund policy: We do not provide refunds for completed workshops or firing outcomes. High-temperature firing is unpredictable by nature.
