In this Stingray Pottery Workshop, you will immerse yourself into the wonderful world of pottery. Discover working with clay as you learn how to create your very own stingray to take home. Don’t worry if you are a beginner, as this class is designed for all skill levels. We will guide you through the process and help you nurture your creativity in an encouraging environment.
During the workshop, our instructor will teach you how to shape your stingray using hand-building techniques, from the smooth, flowing wings to the tail and the detailed eyes that bring it to life. Get ready to get your hands dirty and enjoy the therapeutic nature of working with clay.
What makes this class extra special: you have 2.5 hours with us! You’ll spend 1.5 hours hand-building your stingray, then 1 hour glazing it during the session. Choose from our range of glazes and layer your colours to give your stingray its own look, from rich ocean blues and greens to earthy browns. Your creation will be uniquely yours!
By the end of the class, you will have crafted and glazed your very own stingray that reflects your personal creativity. Your piece will then be fired for you, and your finished item will be ready approx 4 weeks later.
